One of the most exciting names to arise from a new breed of independent watch brands, Lundis Bleus have created a collection of breathtaking contemporary wristwatches, which combine this young Swiss company’s unique signature aesthetic with a spectacular range of dial options.

Established in 2015 by two longtime friends in the town of La Chaux-de-Fonds, where Switzerland’s watchmaking heart beats, Lundis Bleus is the culmination of the careers of watchmaker Johan Storni and designer and enamelist Bastien Vuilliomenet. Each a master in his own trade, they bring with them their experience and acumen from years served with Audemars Piguet Renaud et Papi, Richard Mille and Corum.

Taking an age-old watchmaker’s practice as inspiration for their brand, Lundis Bleus recalls a not infrequent habit of taking Mondays as a day off, to recover from a weekend of liberal consumption, and as a hat-tip to those less complicated times its trademark logo is derived from the chemical structure of the alcohol molecule.

Together as Lundis Bleus they have achieved the seemingly straightforward but devilishly elusive objective of creating a design which is sexy, sophisticated and distinctive, and with subtle but powerful signature hallmarks, the result is a family of collections which are colourful, individual and exclusive.

There are three collections to choose from; Essentielles with hammered metallic dials, the minimalist, colourful Contemporaines, and Métiers d’Art where the artisan crafts of hand engraving and Grand Feu enamelling are superb.

What makes Lundis Bleus stand out is the scrupulous attention to detail and finish which is evident throughout in each and every piece. From the sleek polished stainless steel cases which appear to float independently of the lugs, to dials which feature the rich, deep lustre of hand crafted Grand Feu enamelling, and the high quality Sellita Swiss made self winding movements within, no aspect has been overlooked. Each watch comes with a five year manufacturer’s warranty.
